Reuters: Three Afghan women found dead with warning note
KABUL, May 2 (Reuters) - Authorities have found the bodies of three Afghan women, one of whom worked for an aid group, who were raped, strangled and dumped with a warning for women not to work for such groups, an official said on Monday.

Could Have Been Phrased Better Dept:
“This is retribution for those women who are working in NGOs and those who are involved in whoredom,” said a Western security official
Then you’ve got the (named) local police chief who disclaims any knowledge of the content of the note, which the (unnamed) Western security bloke was able to read out. (At least, let’s hope he was reading it out.) Local police geezer also blames ‘criminals’, despite a claim of responsibility by an organised group of feminicidal headbangers. Hmmm.
Still, you may not approve of these people’s views, but at least now they’re free to express them, and that’s what matters, right?
