I’m feeling extremely strange after only four hours sleep. My post mortem of the election can wait - you probably won’t see much of me today.
In the mean time, I recommend you get yourself over to Europhobia and read his stuff - much better than anything I could hope to produce.
I’ll leave you with just one more thing: lame duck.

BTW, it’s not that Blair’s a lame duck it more that he’s now where most of the party have wanted him to be for quite some time - under what is more or less our democratic control.

I was scrutineering at our local count last night, which involved staying there to ~0245. They kept the sports centre bar open throughout.
Then home for telly and blog, but once I’d sent a brief post to GE05 and tanned another beer it got too much and I crashed around 0330.
Only to awake to the sound of my alarm at 0715 and go to work
Four hours? Wimp. Two and a half here. (And yes, I’m now feeling extremely strange…) Mind you, I wish now I’d made it two for the sake of seeing Paxman vs Galloway…
