The Guardian: US misled UK over Iraq fire bombs

The government was asked yesterday to explain why the US failed to tell it the truth about use on Iraq of incendiary bombs, successors to the napalm used in Vietnam.

    and successors too to the flame-throwers introduced by Germany in the Great War. There is no end to it: Greek Fire, anyone? What is HMG’s complaint: that this time they lied by accident?
