You know, I don’t know which species is worse. You don’t see them screwing each other over for a fucking percentage
More than 50 people dead, but on Fox News there’s always a silver lining:
I mean, my first thought when I heard — just on a personal basis, when I heard there had been this attack and I saw the futures this morning, which were really in the tank, I thought, “Hmmm, time to buy.”
Brit Hume: abject bastard.

There were also people complaining to the BBC Breakfast News this morning that some London hotels had massively increased their room prices on realising that many people would be stranded overnight.
Its an ill wind and all that…
It is indeed bad that Brit’s first thought was regarding the markets. It is not only in bad taste but also shows your priorities!
However, if this was his thought after making sure that his relatives and friends were okay then that would have been a different matter!
Because, as it is, the fact that market has gone down means some people must have thought of selling! Isn’t that as bad as “Hmmm, time to buy”? Actually, the latter is atleast better in the sense that you are showing confidence in the future and while “.. it’s time to sell” is more pessimistic!
