Gross incompetence? Well that’s all right then

Jean Charles de Menezes was shot and killed on Friday July 22.

On Saturday July 23, the Met announced he was unconnected to the bombings of the previous days.

On Monday July 25, the Independent Police Complaints Commission announce they are “taking over the investigation into the shooting“.

According to the today’s papers, on July 22 Sir Ian Blair tried to prevent the Independent Police Complaints Commission from gaining immediate access to the scene of the shooting as legislation dictates they should. Despite Blair being overruled by the Home Office, the IPPC did not gain access to Stockwell Tube until July 25, three days later.

What went on in between?

The clock is now ticking on how long it takes the first Met or Home Office spokesman to utter the dread phrase, “this is more a case of cock-up rather than conspiracy”. It’ll also be worth counting how many times the phrase is used and by who. The vehemence of its usage will be in direct correlation to the deserving of a P45 of the person saying it.

The timing of just when the mainstream media accepts this unquestioningly is easier to pinpoint: 30 seconds after the aforementioned statement ends.

You’ve not seen the front page of the Express then, which claims: ‘It was all a tragic mistake’

I understand a worker at the IPCC has been suspended for leaking the documents. Have we another ‘Clive Ponting’ where they did the deed because of a coverup after all the two key people in the investigation, the head of the IPCC and the person heading this investigation are both ex-Filth and certainly the Head of the IPCC is Met filth as well. Once filth always filth – I worked as a civilan amongst these vermin for 23 years and one thing I learned is the filth think they are better than the rest of us, they regard the law as something either to be ignored or gotten around and they stick together like flies on a turd.

I correct a mistake. The Met filth is not head of the IPCC he is Head of Investigations and his name is Roy Clark the sh*t who was in charge of the investigations into Gupta Virdi and Daziel both prime examples of this ex-officers work with fabricated evidence, unlawful procedures and protection of the senior officers and the status quo. A poor Brazilian has no chance of fairness, impartiality or justice if you look at his track record. The other filth doing the day-to-day management is ex-Cambridgeshire oinker John Cummins who also has responsibility for investigating the pro-hunt demo out side parliament where the thugs from the Met indiscriminatly assualted protestors and we know that will be a whitewash.

Anonymous – did you really just call all policemen vermin? No chance of generalisation there at all?

I know plenty of good cops; two cousins of mine serve. So the scapegoating of all of them as filth is reprehensible.

What happened at Stockwell; guy takes a leak and suddenly he sees the back of a possible suspect. No problem; human error.

What happened on the tube; well there are one or two gung-ho crazy police officers who lost it.

Whitewash: If this happens because of the inquiry… well the filth residing at Number 10 is even filthier than I ever thought possible.

Vermin – from experience of 23 yrs working amongst them – includes more than it excludes – only a slight generalisation then. As for knowing some nice policemen I understand even Goebbels was nice to his children before his loyalty to his mate Hitler meant he sacrificed them as well.

When I first heard about this case I had a suspicion something sounded wrong. Bit by bit the police incompetence has leaked out despite their best(worst?) efforts at a cover-up. This is even worse than I thought possible! The police are even incompetent at cover-ups!

Unless you worked with every one of the current police force, referring to all policemen and women as vermin is a gross generalisation. Rather like someone who has been in and out of corner shops for 23 years saying “all Pakis smell” (yes, I’ve heard that one).

And calling human beings vermin in whatever context is outrageous. Since we’re going down the path of ridiculous comparisons, vermin would no doubt have been a word used by Goebbels and Hitler for Jews.

Such ridiculous statements have no place in civilised and reasonable debate about the role of the police in our society. References to gross incompetence or an outrageous coverup might be more appropriate.

As Godwin’s Law has already been invoked, could I offer Murphy’s corollary to the same Law, which states, “All’s well that ends”
