Admin: Trackbacks
I’m not completely sure what they do - hopefully that will become apparent over time - but a lot of people, Tim Worstall particularly, are insistent that any blog worth its salt should have trackbacks.
So, courtesy of Haloscan, Chicken Yoghurt now has them. Exciting, isn’t it?

The reason I like them is that they allow peopleto follow the conversation as it moves across different blogs. Leads to a slightly different style of blogging than the stand alone essays that so many of us Brits do but does, I think, add something to hte party.
It’s very useful, too, if you refer to an earlier post in your own blog, because then it appears as a trackback on that earlier entry telling people that there’s been an update. Of course, with Haloscan that still requires you to go and find it etc, but it’s better than nothing!
