Evening Standard: Voters back 90-day detention plan
The YouGov poll for Sky News found almost three-in-four (72%) believed the maximum time police can detain suspects should be extended to 90 days.

The return of capital punishment and castration for nonces are only a YouGov poll away.

Just for nonces? What sort of pathetic liberal nonsense is this. For all I say, for all :-)

A text poll for FiveLive yesterday morning showed almost exactly the same figure in favour of the 90 day period.

Look on the bright side: we need moments like this to remind us that there is something worse out there than politicians…

As the mighty George Carlin once said: “Think of how stupid the average person is, and realize half of them are stupider
    than that.”

Always some dry humour to be had when reading or listening to the self-styled tribunes of the people re-acting like Eastbourne Brigadiers (retd.) when the very same ‘people’ they pretend to represent actually have the temerity to voice their opinions. (“Don’t they realise yet that we’ll tell ‘em what to think and when to think it!”)

We all know, with the exception of Justin, himself, that he is, shall we say, not half as bright as he thinks he is, but George Carlin (who he?) sounds as thick as six short Ghurkhas and twice as nasty.

I bought a Texan Bar yesterday! I haven’t eaten it yet, so can’t report on its authenticity. Of course, it’s all a conspiracy to distract us with nostalgia while the transition to overt fascist dictatorship is completed.

Yeah, I bought one as well in the spirit of Old Time’s Sake. Bleurgh. It was revolting – there was a real nostalgia deficit.
