    Watching now…

“any sentient human being will be upset by suffering…”(paraphrased)

Um, tell me - explain what a non-sentient human being is? A dead one?

Now hes barking on about his arc-of-extremism thing again. I find this laughable. Great vision, Tony, for “diversity, faith, culture” etc, but you ain’t gonna get there with crap over-arching metaphors which confuse conflicts with each other.

God this is crap, isn’t it? Is it hot in there or something? The all mighty Lobby just seem to want to roll over and have their tummies stroked. Again.

Not a terribly great performance from the Lobby, although they asked all the obvious questions - didn’t seem like the questioning was intrusive as it could have been.

Blair seems to have this messianic quality to his presentation now - something he has adopted in order to keep on good terms with Him Over There. There will be democracy - I will bring it. There is an arc of extremism - I will defeat it. Next he’ll be trying to turn evian into claret.

He’s been asked twice now how he plans to deal with Syria and Iran as advertised and twice couldn’t or wouldn’t answer the question.

Have I missed something? Where’s the proof that Iran are building a nuclear weapon as Blair says?

Ah hah! The proof is in what they’re NOT admitting to….

    Um….

    re: Iranian nukes:

    1) Do Israel say they are? Yes.
    2) Does Dubya say they are? Yes.

    That’s good enough for Tony.
