Olbermann again

After Keith Olbermann’s tour de force of last week, here he is again on the excrescence that is Rush Limbaugh:

Looks like Olbermann’s going to be a weekly must see.

You can get a daily podcast (on iTunes at least) from his MSNBC show - its usually, but not always, the really excorating commentaries on Bush

    Thanks for this Justin.

It has been suggested elsewhere that these broadcasts should be watched directly from the Countdown website http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/3036677/ in a show of solidarity. Which is a good idea, and also click on the advertising sites, that’ll make them love him!

However, those of us who have neither IE or Flash 8 (because we run our gear on Linux ;) ) will still need the YouTube links.

    Sue.

I have to say that the way he says ‘good luck’ every week gives me the creeps, like he’s expecting you to be dead or picked up by the secret police before his next broadcast.

Olbermann and The Daily Show with Jon Stewart are just about the only things on TV worth watching these days.

  8. [...] Meanwhile, the excellent Keith Olberman, an American commentator whom I discovered through Chicken Yoghurt here and, very memorably indeed, here, did an item a couple weeks ago about David Kuo’s book complaining of the hypocritical manipulation of these American evangelicals by the deeply cynical Karl Rove. The two theses might seem contradictory, but I don’t think they are; the religious right seem to get their way, by and large, while it suits the White House’s political agenda. When it doesn’t, the White House is somewhat more pragmatic and tosses them bones — abortion, emergency contraception, gay marriage — on which to gnaw to keep them quiet. [...]

I found a great picture of US soldiers waterboarding a prisoner.
