    A lesson for the soldier. I can’t help but wonder if he ponders on it.

    2. After running his little legs off chasing the mere promise of a reward, the child watches helplessly as the reward is cast off so carelessly that it is immediately pounced upon by bigger, stronger boys whose legs are not tired from running.

    A lesson for the kid. I can’t help but wonder if he ponders on it.
