Great face for blogging
If anybody is at a loose end tonight and would like to see me make a complete arse of myself, then they should tune in to 18 Doughty Street at 9pm.
Apparently you can text and IM questions into the show so if anybody could send in a few easy ones to get me out of trouble, I’d be eternally grateful.

My first foray into watching 18doughtystreet.com left me thinking that this may take some time to catch on as a phenomenon.
You were great, Justin; we could have done with a bit more from you, to balance some of the more inane pieces of right/liberalism, but the comments you made were pithy and to the point, unlike the rambling of others.
When the room full of whiteys started pontificating about there being nothing to apologise for in slavery, I felt like losing my supper though…
Thanks William. I think I just about managed to cling on. I also think, however, I may have a terminal case of l’esprit de l’escalier.
Yes, the slavery discussion was, shall we say, fraught. I was determined not to open my mouth on the subject other than to take the rise out of the BNP, if possible. ‘Wayne’ the BNP member who kept emailing in was a bit of a gift. I need to have a look at the ‘watch again’ to see how I did.
(I’m thinking about trying to reason through Blair’s non-apology for my Friday Thing piece this week. We shall see.)
For reasons too dull to go into, I ended up seeing a fair bit of it, but with the sound off.
You seemed to be laughing quite a bit, which was good, in between looking rather bored while the frying-pan-faced one next to you did all the talking.
So did you mention the book?
hey my copy of the book just arrived! Thanks very much!
