Some good news at last, right here – for those of us with an eye on the Home Secretary’s ambitions, at least…
Populus suggest that with Reid as leader people would vote CON 44%, LAB 27%, LDEM 20% – a Conservative landslide victory.
It’s the Peter Principle in full effect. Reid has already reached his level of incompetence (he’s been there for some time, just in different jobs) and therefore is, mercifully, highly unlikely to progress any further. That the electorate has noticed is the cherry on the top.
