Former home secretary John Reid has announced that he will quit Westminster at the next general election.

perhaps he is going while the going is good and picking his money up from NR on his way home.
If God loves us, he’d have given us a laugh and struck Reid down with a bolt of lightning whilst giving a telly interview outside parliament so we could watch again and again.
