Fasthosts: At it again
Remember Fastshosts, the webhost of Craig Murray’s and Tim Ireland’s (amongst others) websites? They folded faster than George Bush playing Snap after threats from Alisher Usmanov’s lawyers?
Well, their excellent service continues:
Cybercriminals are attempting to tarnish the reputation of a website designed to fight online money transfer frauds and other scams. UK hosts Fasthosts unwittingly played into their hands by temporarily suspending Bobbear.co.uk over the weekend in response to fraudulent emails.
I get ‘Joe Jobbed‘ from time to time. It’s a minor pain in the arse - I don’t have a reputation protect after all - but like warts tends to go away if ignored. Having a very professional, calm and collected webhost, unless their servers are being hammered by the attack, there’s no bother and things sail on as smoothly as before. Fasthosts should try it.

UPDATE: Tim has more.

Yes, I followed the Alisher Uselessman/Craig Murray matter closely case closely being a lifelong Arsenal supporter. Most of the original Craig Murray stuff has now been reproduced on http://www.arseblog.com
The behaviour of Fasthhosts of Gloucester is a disgrace. Recently Uselessman took a bunch of journalists on a private flight to Moscow to ‘make nice on them’ I believe a little snifter or two was involved. So watch out for the ’supporting’ articles about Uselessman from now on. Craig is the only personal who ‘knows all about him’.
Would anybody be interested in putting together a campaign to try and get Fasthosts to behave better?
Never be tempted to use Fasthosts.
They are rubbish in everything they do.
Whether it is just for one basic site, or like us a reseller with many, do not go near them.
They will be more trouble than they are worth, with slow servers, bad idiotic support and terrible attitude to customer retention. Don’t do it
