Well, I'm ready to change my name to Cromwell and raise an army. Who's with me?

Did you know that feeding soup to the homeless actually encourages people to take to the streets?

MP-In-Denial Alert!

"When it comes down to it people in this country when they come to vote are going to be thinking about economics, about who is going to make them better off, who will make sure they are still in a job and will make sure the schools and hospitals are good and at the moment there is only one answer to those questions and that is Labour."

And that was from Maria Eagle, justice minister. Right, Maria, I get it - all that kerfuffle about invading Iraq, wrecking its infrastructure, killing hundreds of thousands of Iraqis, displacing 4.5-5 million as internal and external refugees, that`s all just tittle-tattle, innit? Nothing that we should bother our silly little heads about. No, all we should be concerned about is schools and hospitals - and then only in the way YOU approve of. No complaints about PFI scams, no outrage over private companies overcharging the state, no anger about the managers of same companies getting bloated on bonuses and profits gouged out of the public coffers.

Ah, its all so clear to me, now that I`ve read the Word of Maria. We must be docile and grateful that we have a Labour government thats working like trojans every hour that God sends, just to make rich people richer. Now that`s what I call the Age of Change. Milady.

And yet, half of the British public think its time for a change - time for a Tory government??? WTF?? This is clear evidence that we have collectively jumped the politics shark as a nation. Yeah, sure, lets vote Tory next time round; at least they don`t pretend to have a social conscience (at least not with the gritty sincerity that Labour used to be able to slather onto their propaganda). A Cameron government will be no different to a Brown one, just nastier and faster with more sleaze and more govt ministers sold to the highest bidder, some Greedcorp mindcontrol tyranny masquerading as a commercial company.

Yeah, go ahead, vote Tory - at least it`ll put us out of our misery finally and for good.

they’d be holding the world to ransom with laser-satellites made from diamonds or bombarding us from orbit with poisons created from rare orchids. Or making suits out of dead prostitutes.

I think you do them an injustice, since they probably have neither the literacy nor the healthily sadistic DVD-watching instinct to learn of such acts, nor the imagination to conceive of them independently.
