There ain’t no justice, just us
Where to start with this? In this brave new world, due process starts at 35,000 feet:
On a fateful day in this war, airmen delivered justice to the al Qaeda terrorist Zarqawi, in the form of two precision-guided, 500-pound bombs. (Applause.)
Justice takes many forms, my friends. We like the ones that go bang the best. I love the way the transcriber included the applause as well. The rest of the speech, as usual, reads as if it was beamed in from a parallel universe.

I believe the phrase is ‘we do bad things to bad people’.
xD.
‘This operation is going to take some time to complete, and the enemy will try to fill the TV screens with violence.’
I wonder if he’s talking about insurgents or the media.
At a press conference in Baghdad, Maj. Gen. William Caldwell showed a photograph of Zarqawi’s body and video of U.S. F-16’s dropping two 500-pound bombs on the house near Baqouba.
“The days of Zarqawi are over,” Gen. Caldwell said. “Iraqis can take great pride in this achievement.”
Gen. Caldwell said there was “100 percent confirmation” that Zarqawi was in the house prior to the attack. He added that six other people were killed in the attack, including one woman and one child.
