To cheer you up, though it is somewhat old at this point: the Brendan O’Neill drinking game.
A bit offtopic, maybe, but have just read that apparently, a 3rd of the British public think that Gordon Brown is worse than Blair, according to the latest Populus survey. And that the Tories are 50,000 points ahead of Labour….okay, that`s absurd, as is the idea that the Tories area ahead AT ALL. Are we turning into a nation of masochists? Must be….
Well, Blair was like one of those dads who worked hard at giving the impression that everything was ok even when it was falling about his ears. Brown is like one of those dads who broods sullenly in front of the telly and tells the kids to bugger off outside.
Cameron is the flash step-dad with the sports car and the winning ways. He’s keeping his darker side close to his chest until he’s married your mum. Then, oh boy, he’s going to be like Robert de Niro in This Boy’s Life.
What does that make Nick Clegg?
He’s the nice neighbour who everybody likes but never think of inviting to parties.
