It's very sad really - I have always had a soft spot for Ken, and was very pleased for him in 2000 when he won. He lost my vote when he rejoined New Labour. He earned my utter condemnation when he supported the rogue Ian Blair against the no confidence motion brought by the GLA. New Labour are a clear and present threat to this country and what little freedom we have left, and they need to be destroyed (instantly, utterly) in any way possible. (The buses are better though, I'll grant Ken that.) I don't live in London. I spend most of my life being annoyed by London media and it's ability to focus 99.9% of its time on London. Then again - imagine the shame of having to explain to people overseas that your capital city's mayor got the job because he acted like a twat on panel shows and yes, he really did call black people that etc. So..on that basis I do hope Ken wins.
