Keep 24 weeks
It took me ten minutes to write to my MP asking her not to vote for any amendment to the Human Fertilisation and Embryology Bill that seeks to reduce the abortion time limit from 24 weeks.
I’d like to suggest you do the same.

Unfortunately, my MP is antichoice buffoon George Galloway.
While I briefly considered him writing a letter saying “please don’t bother to turn up voting on this issue, like you haven’t bothered to turn up voting on anything else”, I think probably it’s best to hope that nature takes its course…

I’m not sure of my own MP’s affiliations actually. I did once see her speak at an Evangelical Christian jolly in a Brighton park (I was there by mistake - the flyer for it made it look like a bouncy-castley, face-painty party-in-the-park, not a recruitment drive for fundies). Not sure if that’s the way she leans or whether she was there in an official flesh-pressing capacity. I supose I’ll find out tomorrow.
