Are all these grooves in your record collection?
‘Cos if they are, I would love to have a nose through the rest of it.

Most of them are. I have a bunch of weird compilations I get at car boot sales and charity shops.

Brown is more of a Miliband fan. He could easily get rid of Darling and install Miliband as his number two.

The big question is….STRAW OR CAMERON? Seriously. It’s political Shag Or Die time.

“The justice secretary Jack Straw, who has already privately signalled concerns about the measures to detain terror suspects for up to 42 days, is regarded as the most likely senior figure to move against him.”

Yes, Jack Straw is always right, and always manages to privately signal he disagrees with a policy (or leader) that’s about to go belly-up. As for the idea of Brown appointing a Deputy PM…well, Harman’s going to spitting blood if it isn’t her: she’d have gone to all that trouble and expense for a Hazel Blears’ old job.
