This is how the mayor treats Sir Ian Blair that has worked hard all his life for everything that stands for justice. Sir Ian Blair is a honourable man that has dedicated his life to the Police force. He and his officers have in the past and now put their lives on the line Twent Four hours a day Seven days a week. They protect us all, no matter who we are. Who else do we have to protect us???????. Dont destroy a good man that cares. We should all salute Sir Ian Blair and the entire Police Force. They are our protectors , and do remember that when that Brazilian Man was shoot by mistake, all the Politicians and Londoners wanted fast results and the Murderous Terrorist stopped before Death and Destruction came to London again. We cannot treat Sir Ian Blair and the Police Force like common criminals when mistakes are made. Where would we be without these Brave Officers that care and protect us Londoners. We and our Mayor and Politicians need these Heroes more than we realise. Dont Destroy a Good Organisation that cares so much. We all make mistakes it’s Human nature. I Salute Sir Ian Blair who has worked hard all his life for what is right, he is truely a worthy and honourable man that deserves more respect.

The role of Commissioner was politicised by Sir Ian who is a new labour puppet. When the smoke recedes and the mirrors are put away it is likely that his decision to step down will have more to do with the progress of Ronnie FLANGAN’S investigation than Boris’s disdain. A further month in the role should facilitate his exit strategy which I’ll wager will include the discontinuance of the investigation into his conduct. The basis will be that his misdemeanors amount to misconduct only and not crime. Having left office he will no longer be subject to Police Misconduct Regulations and he will be free to take his seat in the house of Lords. I have personal reasons for rejoicing at his departure. His personal integrity and lack of Judgement should have precluded his appointment.

"What’s the dirt Johnson’s got on him?" Boris is literally days away from chairing his first MPA meeting. There have been anti-Blair stories in the Mail and Standard recently (both of which have hotlines to Boris Central, who've been leaking against Blair since they got in). Draw your own conclusions - I suspect Boris wanted to start the MPA job with a clean sheet so he can be seen as Mr. London when it comes to the police. Ironically he had to rely on Blair having enough integrity left to resign when it became clear that the elected Mayor didn't want to work with him. Not a bet I'd have taken. Tom´s latest blog post...
