Presumably he means “the series will end” as opposed to “all copies and all trace of the strip will be destroyed, turning to dust right in front of your eyes”?

Gah, I keep forgetting about the movies. I’ve just found how to subscribe to them with RSS (the feed’s here) so hopefully I won’t miss any more.
I’ve watching the animated version - it is utterly brilliant, especially the latest Captain Newscycle Dominator one. It would be a tragedy if it was to shut down.
