Peter Mandelson: always an absolute arse

He really does need to have a word with himself

The Business Secretary told The Times last night: “I have decided to be plain Lord Mandelson. Foy and Hartlepool are places in which I lived. But that is not the title. The only one to be used for formal or informal occasions is Lord Mandelson.”

Plain Lord Mandelson? Have you heard yourself, mate? The sooner this ends in tears, the better.

    Excellent post, thank you!
I think we should refer to Peter Benjamin as “Baron Mandelson, of Foy in the County of Herefordshire and of Hartlepool in the County of Durham” at every opportunity… just to piss him off!

I did enjoy reading of the memorable occasion at the Marina in Hartlepool when Mandy claimed to be a support of Hartlepool United and the journalists amused themselves by asking him to name their left-back.
