But he's not willing to <i>be seen</i> to back down at this point when his poll ratings are awful, global capitalism is in the gutter and his standing within the country and Labour party remains low. Could he be talking tough about getting this through knowing he will back down later when the media's attention is elsewhere? Global capitalism fucking up this comprehensively makes every day "a good day to bury bad news".
