Taxing times

It’s nice of Her Majesty’s Revenue & Customs to cut people some slack with their accounts. After all, there are some of us who can get in an awful pickle when it comes to figures.

    One of the handier little concessions by HMRC is that you get an extra seven days post the formal deadline to submit corporation tax returns. Not income tax, for some reason, but it can be very handy with the usual friction in doing large groups’ tax returns.
