Jon Gaunt gets it right

Writing in The Sun, columnist Jon Gaunt nails what must be done to prevent another Baby P:

I’m saying it must never happen again that we allow an elected and unelected metropolitan elite impose their warped views and social engineering on our country.

Who could disagree? What must happen is that we allow an unelected pantomime inverted snob in the pay of Rupert Murdoch to impose his warped views and social engineering on our country.

Bloody hell. What’s going on? That’s twice he’s got it right.
There must be a conspiracy somewhere

I would argue the use of the word “elite” may I suggest “useless fucking parasites” instead.

JG suggests we need to “understand less and condemn more”. Looks like “mitch” is getting behind him on that one.

After all, one thing we definitely need less of in this day and age is “understanding” things. All those scientists trying to “understand” things! Why don’t they just try condemning them instead?

Hey, it could lead to all kinds of new scientific breakthroughs: ’scientists today successfully condemned the atom’, ’scientists in cancer condemnation breakthrough’, ‘condemnation-fuelled rocket puts man on Mars’…

With all the biiterness and bile being flung about, a “condemnation-fuelled rocket” could probably send a man to Alpha Centauri is substantially less than 4 years.

The whole damn sorry affair has lead to politicians and the media looking like victims in a “Where there’s blame there’s a claim” advert. It’s not about trying to prevent such occurrences in future, but rather try to make as much capital as possible.

“Thanks to BayingMobs4You, I improved my personal standing by 2%. And better still, they let me keep 100% of my approval rating. BayingMobs4U, where public tragedy means personal accolades”

I don’t understand any of the foregoing, but I’d like to condemn it anyway.

Y’know, if only the Sun and the Mail could’ve found a way to hold the hybrid creature Ross/Brand/BBC responsible for the death of Baby P, they would have created the ultimate vulture of self-rightous indignation feeding on the corpse of condemnation, awaiting the maggots of moral panic to pick over the remains.

I guess they’ll just have to make do with nailing another social worker to a mobile phone mast.

I bet the Mail have got a team working around the clock to find out if there are any bogus asylum seekers on the Haringey social services team.

“An unelected pantomime inverted snob in the pay of Rupert Murdoch”. Haha! Spot on!
