If we are going to hang our hat on the principle of judicial process it might be useful to consider, within this specific context, that it is custom and practice within most judicial systems to bring to justice those who have aided and abetted criminal activity. The fact that those who aided and abetted Saddam in coming to power, who maintained and supported his regime, along with the system of which they were and are a part, have not been put in the dock in line with this normal custom and practice, speaks volumes about the sham democracy that we are.
