The Sherlock ‘Olmes: Top Geeza trailer makes it looks like a cross between League of Extraordinary Gentlemen and Snatch. I’m not sure this is a good sign.
Lets just think of the new Sherlock H movie as an, erm, re-engineering of the original blueprint, kinda. Actually, I thought it looked like a total hoot – reminded me a bit of Van Helsing. Yeah, okay, I’m revealing my liking for flashy trash, but at least Sherlock Homes: Expire Hard looks like it could be quite witty…dont you think?….
I’ll get me coat.
Van Helsing is fun (esp. if you like Hugh Jackman), but not quite the gem it could have been (mind you, as a TV series it could have been more fun).* Sherlock H: Crimebuster suffers under the weight of being a Guy Ritchie movie, which isn’t really an incentive to start queueing for the Boxing Day opening.
*(But then it would resemble the steampunk moments in the last series of Torchwood, which would be worth seeing more of)
